Suppliers are raising prices as the fallout from Brexit starts to take effect.

That’s not good news is it? Certainly not what you want to hear…

All labels manufactured in the UK are made using imported base materials. Paper mills and distribution warehouses have based themselves in the Benelux area of Europe to be the most efficient as possible to all their Northern European customers. The recent change in circumstances has left us all in a position that had not been envisaged or expected. At this stage we do not know of one paper mill that’s planning to bring production back to the UK – let’s hope that changes soon – as well as the exchange rate to something a little more in our favour!

All label manufactures have therefore been left in a position where prices have to increase with paper costs going up – in some instances by more than 21%!

We at RALS Ltd have always been very cost conscious and have kept our prices as low as possible since we were established in the summer of 2011. We have always understood the needs of our customers and have tried to supply the right product, at the right price with the right terms – all of the time.
